Highly Expectant

Never knew the intensity of His kind of love but he was very expectant of something, yeah so fixed on getting that solution but little did he know about the abounding grace behind His kind of love…. He was needy yet so blind to acknowledging His touch and presence, how much more: be thankful… To cut this short, he got what he was so down to receive but he couldn’t testify when he should have….

 

This is how many of us, lose out on our testimonies because although we faith but we still look for short cuts to cut and dash into the gain! I tell you, it’s very wrong and sad to keep God as second fiddle! As a friend and sister, I would be lieing to you, if I said I was never in the doubting stage but as I moved up the ladder, despite the tasking levels on the increase; I learnt how not to let go of The Ladder; else it’s a hard “pat on the back”.

Ways to not letting go:

*Hold firmly, the edges of the ladder

*look up always, never look down (literally)

*Remember the possible successes ahead (of course, you don’t wanna toil in vain)

*Ponder on how beautiful life would be if you stayed alive (alive to see more of God)

*Most of all, SMILE at how much of His kind of love keeps holding you till date and you’re not ‘6ft underneath’ even in the ugliest situations and give thanks…

To add, thanksgiving is the quickest reliever from the disease called DOUBT. Yes, hard to believe but when you’re thankful; doubt takes to its heels because it’s like reminding the devil: you’re in an airy place and he would forever abide in a fiery furnace” my dear that single statement in practice would burn him more and he’d flee from your ‘head’ Another note: in any expectation whatsoever; learn to thank Him for the future even in its absence, so that when it arrives; the move to thank more would have been lubricated…
